Anexio's Role

Anexio has taken several measures to bring the Green IT initiative to both our internal operations and those of our clients. These measures include, but are not limited to the following:

• Server/Desktop Virtualization: Our internal servers and data centers are using server virtualization to allow us to consolidate our servers onto a single hardware platform.
• Reduction of On-Site Visits: We average 98.5% total remote remediation on all issues across all of our clients.  Our engineers also have incentives in place to focus on remote remediation.
• Use of Alternative Energy Sources for Our Internal IT Operations:  We have implemented several initiatives that allow us to save energy.  These initiatives include replacing our standard light bulbs with CFLs; we have replaced our ballasts with high efficiency ballasts for the remainder of our lighting.
• Provision of Power-Saving Services to Our Clients: We focus our efforts on equipment that is energy smart and has an EPEAT rating of at least silver. We also focus on LEEDs standard and practices for clients when they move into new locations.
